Jeffery S. Jones, B.S.

Wetland Scientist
Jeffery S. Jones has over twenty-seven years of professional experience in the environmental consulting field. He is certified as a Professional Wetland Scientist by the Society of Wetland Scientists, and is an approved wetland consultant for local jurisdictions.
His experience includes acting as Project Wetland Biologist for developers, municipalities, and property owners in Western Washington, performing wildlife studies and preparing wetland assessment reports. He has designed hundreds of mitigation, restoration, and enhancement plans for wetlands and streams, and provided implementation and monitoring of these plans. He has also served as an expert witness for clients involved in litigation.
Mr. Jones served as Construction Manager on a wetland mitigation project for Boeing Everett Expansion Facilities. He acted as Wetland Biologist and Project Team Leader on the subsequent five-year wetland mitigation monitoring program. He supervised and coordinated field personnel, in addition to acting as a liaison with the client and regulatory personnel from three jurisdictions.
He was previously the general manager for Haztox/Esstek Laboratory, and a field biologist for Wildlife International. He worked for the Soil Conservation Service for eight years, where he gained experience in management of wetlands, wetland determination and classification, stream restoration, wildlife enhancement, water quality, irrigation, water conservation, soil survey, and snow survey. While with the Soil Conservation Service he also worked on a national resource inventory. He was employed for four summers on a land survey crew for Compass Corporation in Sellwood, Oregon, and for one year on the Bureau of Land Management Cadastral Survey.
Mr. Jones received his B.S. in Biology from Lewis and Clark College in 1978. He is trained in the Army Corps of Engineers method of wetland delineation, and is trained by the Army Corps of Engineers in wetland restoration.
Lance Erickson, B.A.
Environmental Designer
Lance Erickson is trained in the Army Corps of Engineers method of wetland delineation. He has over 7 years of experience in conducting wildlife, stream, and wetland assessments, and in designing and implementing wetland mitigations. He has created over 100 stream and wetland restoration and enhancement plans for developers and property owners in Western Washington.
Mr. Erickson received his B.A. in History, with an emphasis on landscape architecture and anthropology, from Washington State University in 1992. He has experience in landscape design, and has served as a designer for residential, commercial and park landscape plans. He was previously a foreman for Earth Enterprises. And he is certified in Construction Site Erosion and Pollution Control.
